2010 Winlock Egg Days Parade

Winlock goes all out for the Annual Egg Days Parade.  This year is an election year, so there was more than usual in the local line-up.  Here is a series of photos that I took for the Town Crier.

I am at my best as an event photographer.  There is nothing I enjoy more than taking an event and showing the emotions within and around that particular event.

From the opening of the flyover to the wheel barrow-toting/pushing clown, a parade yields many emotions;  Most of them good.

For some, it is the chance to be looked upon with envy!

The excitement and awe of children.  There is the realization that such a special occasion may yield me something sweet or new.

There are those that will be showing their new titles.

Others there to show off their skills.

Others still like to show their wares and toys.

Some just want to have fun!

Imagine if your company or organization has a big event, wouldn't you want this type of documentation at an incredibly low cost?  Contact us!  If you would like to see the over 230 photos in the Winlock Egg Days Photo Collection please surf on over to GAP Photo!

Local Parades Collection Available

Some of my favorite events each year to approach with a camera are parades. Each summer, there are four expressions of local personality within ten miles of my home. The displays create excellent fodder for artful photographic expression. A few of my favorite photos have been in circulation for a year or two and appeared in local publications, but I posted an expanded collection at the GAP Photo website.

Take a gander at the collection of photos of Cheese Days, Egg Days, The Funtime Festival and the Vader May Day Parade.

In the meatime, I look forward to this year community events.
